Ingredients
- 2–4 large eggs
- Water (enough to cover eggs by 2–3 cm)
- Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
- Optional: buttered toast or salad for serving
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil.
- Carefully lower the eggs into the water using a spoon.

- Once cooked, remove the eggs and place them in cold water for 2 minutes to stop cooking.
- Peel gently and serve immediately with toast, salt, and pepper.
