  1. Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil.
  2. Lower the eggs carefully into the water using a spoon.
  3. Set your Egg Timer and cook for 6–7 minutes for soft yolks, or up to 8 minutes for slightly firmer ones.
  4. Remove the eggs and immediately place them in ice-cold water for 1–2 minutes to stop the cooking process.
  5. Gently tap and peel the eggs under running water.
  6. Serve warm with a pinch of salt and pepper or over toasted bread.
